The Napier Museum is an art and natural history museum situated inThiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum), the capital city of Kerala, India.The museum is about 6 km from the city. Visiting Hours: Open 10.00 - 16.45 hrs. Closed on Mondays, Wednesday forenoons, January 26, August 15, Thiruvonam and Mahanavami.The architectural masterpiece was designed by Robert Chisholm, the consulting Architect of the Madras Government and the construction was completed in 1880. Napier Museum is a landmark in the city with its unique ornamentation and architectural style with gothic roof and minarets. The Indo-Saracenic structure also boasts a natural air conditioning system.

Day 01: Cochin-Munnar

Arrive at Cochin and proceed to Munnar. Munnar, one of the most popular hill stations in India is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. Located at 1600 m above sea level, this was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India. Sprawling tea plantations, picture book towns, winding lanes, trekking and holiday facilities make Munnar a unique experience. In the evening you can visit tea gardens spread like a green carpet over hundreds of kilometers, lust green hills, a place so difficult to describe, very low popular too far from pollution, most of the covered by Tata tea. Day 02: Munnar

After breakfast go for sightseeing Munnar which includes the Raja Malai, a top peak of Munnar where you can see Neel Thar (mountain goats), Muttupetty dam, Indo Swiss project; you can also enjoy boating in the Lake (optional). Overnight stays at hotel.

Day 03: Thekkady

After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Thekkady which is also known as Periyar. On reaching thekkady check into the hotel and get refreshed. Have a sightseeing tour in and around thekkady. In the evening visit the spice plantation and Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the world's most fascinating natural wildlife reserves. Enroute visit Devikulam, Signal view Point, Anayirangal Dam, Spice Plantations etc. Arrive and check in to hotel. Afternoon enjoys a boating at manmade lake and this is the only wild life sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing wildlife at close from the safety of a boat on the lake. The probable animals to watch are Bison, Gaur, Wild Elephants, Sambhar and a wide variety of birds. Evening free for shopping Tea, Coffee, Spices, and Antiques etc...Overnight at hotel.

Day 04: Kovalam

After Breakfast and proceed to Kovalam. Kovalam has three beaches separated by rocky outcroppings in its 17 km coastline; the three together form the famous crescent of the Kovalam beach. The whole day will be devoted to exploring the beauty of this lovely sea side. The light house beach is the best known beach in Kovalam. It offers a striking view of the Vizhinjam Mosque. The Samudra Beach is a better option for those who love solitude for it is not the centre of much activity and impresses one with its tranquility. The Hawah Beach bustles with the activities of fishermen particularly in the mornings. Each moment is sure to be thoroughly enjoyable and fond memories of these days will be cherished for long. Day 05: Kanyakumari

After breakfast check out from the hotel & drive to Kanyakumari. Kanyakumari is a place at the confluence of the Indian Ocean, the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea. Witness the setting sun and the rising moon simultaneously over three oceans. The Vivekananda Rock Memorial, built on a huge rock off the shore off Kanyakumari, marks the spot where Swami Vivekananda. Have darshan at Suchindram Temple and Kanya Devi Temple. Day 06: Trivandrum

After Breakfast drive to Kovalam check in to the hotel city tour visiting Napier Museum, Sri Chitra Art Gallery, Padmanabha Swami Temple, Museum, Zoo etc. Overnight stays at hotel.

Day 07: Trivandrum Drop

The blissful holiday in Kerala comes to an end today. Every moment of the trip was memorable but as all good things in life must come to an end it's time now to head for Trivandrum Airport and board the flight back home.
